  • ADHD Testing
We have both testing and treatment options at our facility. We offer qualified staff to help our patients address their concerns and confirm findings from our testing program. ADHD evaluations include clinical interviews and rating scales across two or three domains to assess executive functioning, distractibility, impulsivity and other related behaviors and characteristics that could indicate an attention deficit disorder.
  • Medical Marijuana Assessments
In recent years, the use of and demand for medical marijuana as a treatment option for clients experiencing anxiety and posttraumatic stress disorder has increased. Some of our providers are approved to certify clients to participate in Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana Program. We provide clinical evaluations to determine whether a client might benefit from this treatment modality and ongoing medication management.

Family therapy helps members of the family resolve conflicts and improve communication. Your Sound Minds Behavioral therapist will provide a supportive approach to guide your family through stressful times.
  • Group Therapy
Group therapy involves one or more therapists providing psychotherapy with several people at the same. Groups are centered around one issue at a time. For example, one session might be about depression whereas another might be about stress management. The goal is to collectively support each other. Sometimes the group is composed of people in similar circumstances. For example, a therapy group may consist of teenage girls, people in chronic pain, or married couples. Please contact the office to learn more about current therapy groups offered at Sound Minds Behavioral.
  • In-Home Behavioral Health - Family Therapy
Licensed clinicians provide individual and family therapy in the family’s home. The treatment includes cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral assistance, mentoring, and trauma-informed therapy.
  • In-Home Behavioral Health - Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) is the most well-supported treatment modality for children who have been abused or traumatized. It is an evidence-based psychotherapy that aims to address the needs of children and adolescents with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other difficulties related to traumatic events. The goal of TFC-CBT is to provide psychoeducation to both the child and the family.
